The Ibanez AEWC400 acoustic-electric guitar is a fresh approach to guitar design, merging exotic tonewoods with a thinner, amplification-friendly body to create a beautiful guitar that's a joy to play and hold. It's ideal for any serious guitarist but is an excellent choice for gigging musicians and songwriters.

Flamed maple is the wood of choice for the AEWC400, and is used on the entire body: top, back, and sides. The asymmetric Mahogany neck has a 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 15.74" radius. The AEWC comfort body features an arm and back contour with an arched back.

A soft Florentine cutaway provides easy access all the way to the 17th fret. The Fishman Pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 Preamp deliver excellent reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation, while 1/4" and XLR outputs give you options for a variety of direct plug-in applications.
