Each reed is attached to a 47mm nickel silver tube, with extra refinement applied to the tip. The heart and back of the reed are carefully balanced with the tip through extensive testing.
The crow of every reed is precisely tuned to an exact pitch, and each reed is test-played across the full range on a professional Loree oboe.
