The BB-235 Yamaha bass guitar has a slightly thinner neck than previous BB basses, which improves playability and feel for both traditional and modern players. The open-gear tuners complement the overall design, providing a perfect match for the smaller, lighter body of these new models. 

Custom-designed ceramic pickups on the BB-235 Yamaha 5-string bass deliver a clean, well-defined sound. You can use the bridge and neck pickups individually for distinctly different sounds, or use them in combination for a more diverse sound. For versatile sound shaping, controls include one master tone control and one volume control for each pickup.
